The leader of Tunisia's Ennahda party, Sheikh Rashid Ghannouchi, confirmed in an interview with Al Hiwar TV that he was visited in his Tunis offices by Sir John Jenkins, the UK ambassador to Saudi Arabia and head of the review team into the Muslim Brotherhood commissioned by Prime Minister David Cameron
Ghannouchi told Al Hiwar's Dr Azzam Tamimi that the two chatted for nearly two hours and that he found Ambassador Jenkins an extremely amicable and considerate person. He was delighted that the meeting went very well; noting that they conversed in Arabic as the ambassador spoke excellent Arabic.
