The Palestinian Civil Liaison said Radayda was 15 years old and a resident of the village of Al-Ubeidiya in the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem.

Radayda, who was previously reported to be 16 years old, was shot and killed by Israeli border police as he allegedly approached the Israeli Container checkpoint northeast of Bethlehem yesterday afternoon.

Israeli police did not immediately confirm that Radayda had been killed, however eyewitnesses said Israeli forces covered his body with a blanket on the scene and prevented Palestinian Red Crescent medics from reaching the teen.

Radayda was one of three Palestinians who have died in the span of a week – including a young man who was killed by an Israeli settler during a protest, and a teenage girl who succumbed to her wounds two months after being shot by Israeli forces.
