Former Israeli Army Commander and key figure in the Israeli Labour party, Amiram Levin, vowed to expel Palestinians to Jordan in any upcoming war, Israeli Hebrew newspaper Maariv reported yesterday.

Levin, who served 33 years in the Israeli army, told the paper: “We were too good in 1967 [war]. If they [Palestinians] violate agreements, then next time we will throw them over the Jordan River.”

The Palestinians deserved the occupation, they do not deserve anything because they did not accept the boundaries of division.

However he went on to warn: “The problem is that the occupation corrupts, and that is an existential danger to us as a society.”

“The IDF forgot how to win. You turn from a tiger into a pig because of controlling another people. You do not look for targets but just get fat and sit there. The mission is not to bring the soldiers home safely, it is to kill the enemy.”

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas warned he would void all previous agreements with Israel as part of his protest against the US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in violation of international law and numerous UN resolutions.
