Israel forces attack Palestinian school students in Nablus

March 21, 2018 at 11:47 am

Israeli forces are continuing their attacks on Palestinian school children in Al-Laban on the outskirts of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, Quds Press has reported.

Palestinian teacher Osama Daraghmeh said that the Israeli occupation forces are permanently present on the streets around the neighbourhood.

“On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces blocked a number of the Palestinians and scores of school students at a military checkpoint and fired tear gas and sound grenades directly at them, causing a number of casualties,” Daraghmeh told Quds Press.

“The Israeli occupation took footages of the school using camera drones,” warning this might be an introduction to further “aggressive” acts.

He also said that the Israeli assaults against the neighbourhood had negatively affected the school students and lead to psychological problems.

The teacher called for the human rights groups to put pressure on the occupation to stop its aggression against Palestinian children and students.

Quds Press reported informed sources warning that the ongoing Israeli measure might be an introduction to preventing Palestinians from using the main road in the neighbourhood.
