Israeli forces prevented the entry of all forms of fuel into the besieged Gaza Strip through the Karm Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) commercial crossing, including fuel funded by Qatar, the Anadolu Agency reported a Palestinian security source as saying on yesterday.

ccupation forces have been preventing the entry of fuel funded by Doha since Tuesday on orders from the Israeli Defence Minister, Avigdor Lieberman, under the pretext of increasing protests which are calling for an end to the 11-year Israeli imposed siege on the Strip.

The Israeli decision coincides with increasing threats launched by Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu and Lieberman of launching “severe blows” against Hamas in Gaza.

Hundreds of Palestinians have been protesting in the Gaza Strip since March demanding the right of return for all refugees and an end of the siege. Occupation forces have been targeting the demonstrators with live bullets killing more than 200 Palestinians, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
