Iran: Too early to comment on Khashoggi’s case

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry Bahram Qasimi said that his country waiting until the facts are revealed to comment on Jamal Khashoggi’s case, Sputnik reported yesterday.

“Tehran will not comment until the facts are revealed,” Sputnik reported Qasimi telling the Iranian news agency Fars.

“It is still early and we prefer to wait,” he added.

The veteran Saudi journalist and political analyst Khashoggi disappeared after entered the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul on 2 October.

Turkey says it has recordings which prove Khashoggi was killed in the building and its team of investigators were allowed to enter the premises yesterday two weeks after Khashoggi’s disappearance.
