Mansoureh Khojasti Bagherzadeh, the wife of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has died from wounds sustained in a reported US-Israeli airstrike on Tehran, according to Iran’s Tasnim news agency.
Iranian state media said she had been injured during the attack earlier this week. On Sunday, officials also confirmed the deaths of Khamenei’s daughter, granddaughter, daughter-in-law and son-in-law in the same wave of airstrikes.
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday evening that Khamenei had been killed, a claim later confirmed by Iranian state television. Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump said the Iranian leader had been unable to evade American intelligence capabilities.

He added that the operation had been carried out in close coordination with Israel. Two US sources and an American official were quoted as saying that the strike had been timed to coincide with a meeting Khamenei was holding with senior aides.
The reported killings mark a dramatic escalation in the conflict between Iran, the United States and Israel, with senior political and military figures among those said to have been targeted.
Neither Washington nor Tel Aviv has issued further official details regarding the operation.
