AMMAN, JORDAN – JULY 12: A view from open session of the trial as Jordanian state security court on Monday issued a 15-year sentence against two former officials involved in an attempt to destabilize the monarchy in a trial that came to be known as the “Sedition Case” in Amman, Jordan on July 12, 2021. The verdict was announced in an open session headed by military judge Muwafaq al-Masaeed, who said the two men were involved in incitement against the Jordanian political system and exposing the society’s safety and security to jeopardy.
