Arab League condemns violence in Egypt and Iraq

The Arab League has condemned the “violence and terrorism” in Egypt, Iraq and other Arab countries, Turkish news agency Anadolu reported.

Political Undersecretary General of the Arab League Fadel Jawad said on Monday that: “The Arab League denounces the violence, terrorism and killing of innocents, whatever the context is.”

Jawad noted that this issue does not affect only those states, but also the safety and interests of their citizens, including their economic situations.

Commenting on the increasing suicide bombings in Iraq, Jawad lamented: “We feel sorry for these bombings taking place in Iraq. These attacks were carried out by terrorists from outside of the country.”
