A diplomatic source in the US embassy in Cairo has said that US State Secretary Hillary Clinton will visit Egypt in the next few days. According to the source, the date of the visit has not yet been decided but although it could take place at any time soon, it will not be on Saturday as has been claimed in the media.
Clinton would be the first foreign official to visit Egypt and meet its newly elected president, the Muslim Brotherhood’s Mohamed Morsi, after he takes the oath of office.
