Iraqi delegation arrives in Cairo to discuss security cooperation

A delegation of Iraqi security officials has arrived in Cairo for a four-day visit to discuss cooperation with Egypt in”the fight against terrorism and organised crime”, it has been reported. Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper quoted an informed source among those receiving the delegation at the airport.”Five senior Iraqi security officials make up the delegation,” he said.


He added that they would discuss arrangements for exchanging information and expertise. This is expected to focus mainly on dealing with Al-Qaeda and other Jihadist groups.
