Israeli aircraft violate Lebanese airspace

Lebanon fired anti-aircraft missiles at Israeli aircraft which violated Lebanese airspace near the capital Beirut on Sunday evening. No damage or casualties were reported.


Israel’s Channel 10 reported that Israeli Air Force jets flew at low altitude towards and over Beirut “and carried out mock raids, when the Lebanese army fired anti-aircraft missiles on them”. According to the report, the defensive measures continued until the Israeli aircraft left Lebanese airspace.
