Palestinian security disperse Egyptian solidarity rally in the West Bank

The Palestinian Authority cracked down on Palestinians who took to the streets in the occupied West Bank, in solidarity with the Egyptian people.

Activist and writer, Lama Khater, wrote on her Facebook page, that PA security officers had cracked down on the protest and shouted obscenities at the protester. “They insulted us and told me that I live for troublemaking,” she wrote.

Ironically, they told her to write an article describing what the PA security services had done to the pro-Egyptian protesters.

Khater said that they [PA] would not stop them from expressing their feelings of solidarity with their Egyptian brothers.
