Pro-Assad businessman offers reward for arrest of journalists

A pro-regime Syrian has offered a reward for those who arrest any of the correspondents working for Al-Jazeera or Al-Arabiya news channels covering the conflict in Syria. Businessman Fahim Saqr is based in Kuwait and has offered 10 million Syrian pounds (around $95,000) to anyone making the arrests.

According to Saqr, the two channels contribute towards the shedding of Syrian blood. He accused the correspondents of “misleading the Syrian and Arab people”.
