Israel destroys ministerial headquarters in Gaza

EXCLUSIVE PICTURES

Israel’s military offensive in Gaza has destroyed the headquarters of the council of ministers, west of Gaza City. Sources in Gaza reported that F16 jets launched five missiles against the building early on Saturday morning, destroying it completely.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh received his Egyptian counterpart, Dr Hisham Kandil, and the visiting delegation in the same building. During the 2008-09 war against the civilian infrastructure in Gaza, Israel destroyed the previous ministerial building in Tel Al Hawa, south-west of Gaza City.

Almost 200 targets were hit during the Israeli onslaught overnight, including the headquarters of the Palestinian police force in Gaza.
