Israel's concerns over Morsi victory "confirms that Palestine is the first beneficiary of the revolutionary changes"

Ismail Haniyeh, the elected head of the Palestinian government in Gaza, has said that Israel’s concerns over the victory of President Morsi in Egypt is the strongest evidence that Palestine is the first to benefit from the Arab Spring.

Speaking at the first graduation ceremony of the University of Alumah in the Gaza Strip, Haniyeh said: “We feel that Palestine is the first to benefit from the Arab spring and that it will be on top of the list of priorities in various fields and revolutions; so we are optimistic about what is going on in the surrounding countries, and why not?”

When the Israeli entity considers the victory of Mohammed Morsi as a black day, he added, may Allah increase Israel’s black days and make those of the Palestinian people and nation brightly white.
