Nablus schoolgirls display handicrafts

EXCLUSIVE PICTURES

Schoolgirls from the Muhammad Tufaha School in Nablus have held a craft exhibition under the title “Flowers of Spring”, which featured their work from across the academic year.

The exhibition was supervised by craft instructor Maha Al-Qadomi and was attended by local officials, parents and students.

Many of the exhibits underlined the students’ commitment to their national cause and heritage, especially that of weaving and embroidery. In the same manner, the girls depicted the daily realities of Palestinian life under occupation vividly through their handicrafts.

All the materials used in the exhibition were sourced locally.
