Sudanese doctors arrive in Gaza as Egyptian pharmacists send medical aid convoy

Twelve doctors from Sudan have crossed into Gaza with their own medical equipment to help their Palestinian colleagues to treat civilians wounded in Israel’s offensive. The delegation is one of many solidarity visits to the beleaguered Gaza Strip which has seen border officials working around the clock to facilitate their entry.

The Sudanese group arrived at the Rafah Crossing just after a convoy of 19 trucks containing medicines and medical disposables. The convoy was equipped by members of the Egyptian Pharmacists’ Union and NGOs.
