Three Israeli soldiers wounded on Gaza border

A massive explosion was heard in south-east Gaza in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Israeli sources said that three soldiers were wounded in the blast, which was caused by an “explosive device” detonated during a routine activity by the Israeli troops near Kibbutz Nirim. One of the soldiers is in a critical condition.

Heavy shelling and gunfire were heard after the incident, said witnesses.
