The Occupation banned Adhan at Al Ibrahimi Mosque 54 times last month

The Israeli Occupation authorities banned the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan) at Hebron’s Al-Ibrahimi Mosque 54 times in the month of October.

Palestinian sources said that the Occupation banned the Adhan at Al Ibrahimi Mosque on the pretext of disturbing settlers celebrating Jewish feasts.

Hebron’s Endowments Director Zeid Al Jaabari denounced the Israeli decision against Adhan, saying they are made “on the pretext of disturbing settlers present in the seized part of the Mosque.”

The Israeli authorities currently impose many restrictions that “make it difficult for Palestinian citizens to pray in the Ibrahimi Haram” and they tighten military measures at the main entries and routes leading to the Mosque.
