Israeli jets pound Gaza for fourth consecutive day

Israel’s air force launched three strikes on the tunnel area in Rafah, between Egypt and the southern Gaza Strip, on Sunday morning.

The strikes terrified residents, but no casualties were reported after the fourth consecutive attack in as many days.

Israeli warplanes have continued to strike the Gaza Strip all week. On Saturday, they targeted the tunnel area in Rafah twice, and a third strike targeted an open area in eastern Gaza City.

On Wednesday, six Palestinians sustained light wounds in airstrikes on northern and southern Gaza.

On Tuesday, Israeli jets, artillery, and tanks fired missiles and shells at different sites in the Strip, injuring five people, two of whom at a farm in the northern city of Beit Lahiya.
