Kuwait says upcoming Arab Summit will not tackle recent Qatar-Gulf rift

Khaled Al-Jarallah, Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister, said in press statements that the upcoming Arab Summit in Kuwait will not address the recent crisis between Qatar and the three GCC countries KSA, UAE, and Bahrain.

“This crisis should be addressed within a GCC framework and under the auspices of the Kuwaiti Emir himself,” Al-Jarallah said.

The Summit will address current affairs in the Arab World, he said, ruling out the possibility that any resolution on Syria would be issued during the Summit.
