Former army general reveals secrets about Sisi's private security firm

General Adel Sulaiman, Director of Strategic Dialogue Forum, revealed in a televised interview that the private security firm in charge of providing security for Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi is partly owned by the pro-coup businessman Naguib Sawiris, and managed by officers from the army, police, and intelligence. It was the same security firm hired by Ahmed Shafiq, the former presidential candidate and Mubarak’s last prime minister, during his 2012 presidency campaign.

The CEO of Falcon company, according to Sulaiman, used to head the security branch of the Egyptian Broadcasting and Television Union, and was a deputy minister of general intelligence. Most employees in the company are either retired army or police personnel assigned to work there through recommendations and nepotism.

Moreover, Sulaiman pointed out that army helicopters are still securing Sisi despite his resignation.
