Egyptian presidential candidate and ex-army chief Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi has been addressing his supporters via webcam, apparently for security concerns.
Unlike Sisi, his only rival leftist leader Hamdeen Sabbahi has faced supporters in popular rallies in a number of governorates.
According to the spokesperson of Sisi’s presidential campaign Abdel-Nabi Abdel-Sattar, Sisi is scheduled to address a popular rally in Sharqeya governorate tomorrow via webcam. Sharqeya is the hometown of Mohamed Morsi, the elected president whom Sisi forcibly ousted last July 3.
