Bakri expects Sisi to apologise for accepting presidency in spite of poor voter turnout

The columnist Mustafa Bakri, editor of Elaosboa journal said: “The presidential candidate, Field Marshal Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi, may issue an apology in accepting the presidency after succeeding due to the lack of turnout in the presidential elections.” He noted that the number of voters for deposed President Mohamed Morsi were much higher than the number of those who voted in the current elections.

Bakri said Al-Sisi had warned, during his message on the social networking site Facebook, that “the lack of turnout will lead to unsatisfactory results.”
