Ayat Oraby: Al-Sisi's PM Mahlab represents Mubarak's NDP

Egyptian commentator Ayat Oraby said that Ibrahim Mahlab, the Prime Minister appointed by Egyptian military coup leader Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi, is “the representative of the disbanded National Democratic Party in the coup regime.”

At an interview with Al-Jazeera Monday, Oraby criticized the reappointment of minister of finance Hany Kadry in the new cabinet, saying it “indicates Mahlab’s confused performance, particularly since Kadry has been partially responsible for the recent deterioration of the economy in light of his decisions that had negative impacts on the economy.”
