Egypt rejected international criticism of the verdicts handed to three Al-Jazeera journalists yesterday.
In a statement the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said it “strongly rejects any comment by a foreign entity that questions the independence and fairness of Egyptian judiciary.”
It added that “foreign meddling in Egypt’s domestic affairs is unacceptable, and it provokes the anger of all Egyptians.”
