5 bombs in Cairo injure 6

At least six people were injured during this morning’s rush hour when four bombs exploded minutes apart in Cairo underground stations, local news reports said.

The first three blasts were followed an hour later by two other bombs near a courthouse in Heliopolis, eyewitnesses reported.

Three people were injured at Shubra station, medics and security sources said; one at Ghamra station, one at the Hadyek Al-Quba station, and one at the Ezbet Al-Nakhl station.

In a statement on Facebook, the Ministry of Interior said only two blasts had taken place: one in the Shubra station and the other in the Ghamra station.
