Qatari fuel has started to enter the Gaza Strip via the Karam Abu Salem Crossing, heading to the Gaza electricity plant; Palestinian newspaper Al-Resalah reported a senior Palestinian official as saying.
Chief of General Committee for Crossings and Borders in the Palestinian Authority Nazmi Mohana told the paper that 190,000 litres of industrial fuel are due to enter the Gaza Strip.
He said that the obstacles that delayed the entry of the fuel were removed and it can now enter the Strip.
