Palestinian refugees in Sweden demand their rights

Scores of Palestinian refugees in Sweden held a sit-in, in front of the Immigration Department for the fourth consecutive week to demand authorities grant them the right to permanent residency.

The 320 refugees who joined their families and relatives in Sweden nearly four years ago were displaced from Iraq in 2003.

During their protests in the city of Malmo, they held banners outlining their suffering and the hardships they faced after being displaced from Iraq.
