Al-Qarni calls on Palestinians to hold onto their positions

Member of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, Dr Aidh Al-Qarni, called on Palestinians “to hold onto their position, take strength from God and keep their faith in Him and then in themselves, because the world is busy with other things and they are the owners of their case.”

On Twitter Al-Qarni emphasised that “the Palestinian uprising and stones have achieved what armies and missiles could do.”

“You are the story of struggle, patience and perseverance of this age and age and you are the symbols of victory and the stars of independence.”

“The youth of the uprising made the entire Ummah [Islamic society] proud, may Allah grant them victory and send the Zionist occupiers his worst punishments,” he wrote. “My brothers in Palestine, I tell you, do not be sad as God is by your side, if God is with you you shouldn’t be scared of anything. God is greater than all states, all nations and all organisations. God is with you, so don’t rely on anybody for help and do not be scared of anyone’s damage.”

He added: “I promise you, my brothers in Palestine, an upcoming victory, God willing, and be sure that the harder it gets, the closer the relief comes, and God is close and he is capable of answering our prayers and making them come true.”
