An aircraft believed to be an unmanned US drone crashed yesterday in the Al-Mutla Ridge region of Kuwait’s Al-Jahra province, according to Kuwaiti military sources.
In a statement issued on Twitter, the Kuwaiti General Staff said a US drone crashed in the region without causing any damage, there were no casualties.
“US and Kuwaiti troops have begun investigations at the site in hopes of determining the cause of the crash,” a Kuwaiti defence ministry sources told the Anadolu Agency.
US authorities, for their part, have yet to confirm the incident.
