Israel confiscates 4,000 Palestinian puppets

Israeli customs officials yesterday confiscated 4,000 puppets wearing Palestinian keffiyeh and holding small stones in a shipment bound for the occupied West Bank, Safa news agency reported.

Arabic phrases printed on the keffiyeh read, “Oh Jerusalem, we are coming” and “Jerusalem is for us”.

Israeli radio reported Israeli customs officials as saying that: “These puppets encourage incitement against Israel; therefore, they were confiscated.”

The puppets were imported from the UAE by a Palestinian trader from the occupied West Bank and they arrived in Haifa seaport.
