PA foreign exchange reserve down 15.3% in 2015

Palestinian Authority (PA) exchange reserves dropped by 15.3 per cent in 2015, the Palestinian Monetary Authority announced yesterday.

Anadolu reported numbers published by the Monetary Authority showing a decline in the foreign exchange reserve to $473.8 million at the end of 2015. The reserve reached $559.1 million at the end of 2014.

In February 2015, the PA foreign exchange reserve hit its highest level of $580 million only to later decline. In November it was $459.8 million and it increased by three per cent in December.
