Israeli army fires tear gas into Palestinian girls’ school

Israeli forces fired tear gas into a girls’ school in the south of the West Bank city of Jenin on Wednesday, causing many of the students to need medical attention. The Principal of Jaba Girls School Rowida Atallah said that about 20 Palestinian female students suffered breathing difficulties after the attack.

Atallah said that a number of students were transferred to the health centre in the town of Jaba to receive treatment.

Local sources told a Quds Press reporter that Israeli forces stormed the town of Jaba, which resulted in the outbreak of clashes between Palestinian youth and Israeli soldiers.

In another incident, Israeli forces stormed the village of Anza in Jenin.
