The Islamic University of Gaza on Saturday inaugurated an exhibition to showcase national products.
In a challenge to the strict Israeli siege imposed on the coastal enclave and attempts to saturate Gaza’s markets with Israeli products, local products were placed on display including food and drink, wooden ornaments, metal works, medicines, herbs and honey.
One section was dedicated for the Palestinian embroidery and other traditional clothes and ornaments, in addition to artwork.
Visitors were also given information and details about local industries and products.
