Occupation closes main road in Hebron

Israeli occupation police yesterday closed one of the main roads in Hebron in order to facilitate the movement of illegal settlers during Passover, Quds Press reported.

Local sources told Quds Press that the Israeli police closed Beer Al-Saba’ Street, which passes through the main market in the city centre, in order to facilitate the movement of the settlers from and to a claimed historical site.

According to the sources, Israeli police evacuated Palestinians from the street and removed their vehicles.

Hebron’s Al-Ibrahimi Mosque has been closed to Muslims for three days to facilitate its use by Jewish settlers during Passover.
