Israel has developed a tactical combat robot which is able to move through different terrain and target the enemy accurately, Moheet.com reported yesterday.
The new small combat robot is called Dogo and is equipped with six cameras which enable it to create a 360-degree view.
According to the report, the robot weighs 26.5lbs (12 kilogrammes) and is able to target its enemy even when hidden.
A fully loaded Glock pistol is placed in the tank which operates on rechargeable batteries. In addition, it includes other nonlethal weapons such as pepper spray which temporarily blinds an attacker from 5-10 metres away.
The combat robot is remote-controlled and has been tested on numerous occasions. It is expected to be displayed for the first time in the aerial defence fair Eurosatory later this month.
