Occupation prevents Palestinians from expanding homes in Bethlehem

Israeli occupation authorities yesterday handed notices to Palestinians in Bethlehem asking them to stop construction works in their houses, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Coordinator of Anti-Wall and Settlement Committee in Bethlehem Ahmed Salah said Israeli forces raided Khirbet Alia neighbourhood in the south of the Palestinian city.

They distributed notices to Salah and his two sons Samir and Samih, asking them to stop construction works in the already inhabited houses.

Salah said that his relatives are continuing their renovation works.

He noted that the Israeli authorities also handed over a similar notice to Samih Salah, asking him to stop working in a store in his farm and to demolish a mobile house in the same area.
