Iranian arms shipment bound for rebels seized in Yemen

Yemeni resistance forces on Friday seized a ship loaded with weapons and ammunition believed to be heading to Shia rebels.

In a statement, Aden city governor General Aidroos Al-Zubaidi said that Yemeni resistance seized the shipment near the coast of Somalia and Djibouti coming from the Horn of Africa while heading to Al-Mukha District which is controlled by rebels.

Al-Zubaidi said Yemeni resistance fighters currently hold the ship until authorities complete their investigations. He did not mention who was on board the ship.
