Iraqi Defence Minister Khaled Al-Obeidi expects parliament not to pass a vote of no-confidence against him tomorrow, he said in a statement given to Al- Arabiya TV channel yesterday.
Al-Obeidi accused Parliament Speaker Salim Al-Jabouri putting the lives of the officers in his ministry at risk after he leaked details of the first confidential session to the press.
Last week cabinet members were unconvinced by Al-Obeidi’s responses when they questioned him.
