Camel accident kills two police officers in Oman

Two police officers were killed in Al-Mudhaibi province, 103 miles from the capital city Muscat, when the police car hit a stray camel.

A police report from the Royal Oman Police stated that upon hitting the camel, the car overturned and the policemen were pronounced dead at the scene.

Stray camels pose a threat to roads in Oman, especially in rural areas with underdeveloped infrastructure.
