Suspected Israeli cyber attackers hacked

Two Israelis men suspected of running an international hacking operation were arrested by Israeli police last week after a tip-off from the FBI.

Eighteen-year-olds Itay Huri and Yarden Bidani are thought to have made over $600,000 through the operation. They were released on bail on Thursday.

The men worked to knock websites offline. Databases from websites hit were also leaked online.

The police said both suspects are banned from leaving the country, with both their passports turned in to police. Huri and Bidani were further “required to report for police questioning upon request,” the statement said.

It’s not clear if the US will seek extradition of the suspects.
