Anti-Israeli attacks in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem “will never end”, Arab48.com reported Israeli Major General Eitan Dangot saying yesterday.

Dangot, who has served as coordinator for the Israeli civil administration in the occupied West Bank, said that last week’s increasing rate of attacks was a result of increasing casualties among Palestinian youths during the invasions of Palestinian villages and towns.

He said that the operations in the Palestinian areas were based on the idea that a “killer draws a killer”.

Dangot said that the rate of the attacks does not reflect the status quo and that a reduction would not indicate the end of such events.

After a series of claimed attacks carried out by Palestinians who were shot dead by Israeli soldiers last week, Israeli occupation forces deployed more forces in Hebron. This is in addition to the blockage imposed on the residents of Bani Naim where three of the alleged attackers lived.
