Yemen deports African immigrants

Yemeni authorities announced they had begun deporting 220 illegal African immigrants, mostly Ethiopians residing in Aden.

It is not clear whether the deportees are related to the dozens of African mercenaries brought in by the Houthis.

According to Gulf News, Security Belt Forces (SBF) said in a statement that they have begun the deportation operation within the liberated provinces in southern Yemen.

The statement said local authorities have been working to prevent the migrants from joining the Houthi ranks or Al-Qaeda.
