Economic, political challenges top agenda of Arab-African Summit

Arabic and African ministers yesterday arrived in Malabo, capital of Equatorial Guinea, ahead of the fourth Arab-African Summit expected to start on Wednesday, Quds Press reported.

Foreign, finance, economic and trade ministers are due to meet today to prepare for the summit which is being held under the title “Together Towards Sustainable Development and Economic Cooperation”.

Political and economic challenges facing the region are top of the summit’s agenda.

The previous summit, which was held in November 2013 in Kuwait, called for cooperation among Arab and African counties and to reinforce relations among the governments in both regions by increasing mutual visits for discussions and consultations at all levels.
