Israel loses contact with military drone in occupied West Bank

The Israeli occupation army lost contact with a military drone on Monday in the skies above the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, Israeli media have reported. The army said communication was lost with the unmanned aerial vehicle when it was over Balata Refugee camp on the outskirts of Nablus, explained JPost.com.

Following an overnight search, however, the drone was located and recovered. An investigation has been opened into the incident. This is the second time in 10 days that an Israeli drone has gone missing while in use.

The Israeli army announced last Monday that a military drone made by the same company crashed in Lebanon. Militia group Hezbollah said that it identified the aircraft and downed it.
