The foreign affairs minister of Oman has affirmed his country’s support for the government of President Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi, it has been reported by Al-Arabia. Yusuf Bin Alawi made his statement in the wake of extensive silence about the Saudi-led coalition’s military advancements against the Houthi rebels in Yemen.

Omani officials also told Yemen’s Deputy Prime Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi that the government in Muscat backs all of the efforts to provide security and stability, and protect the territorial integrity of Yemen.
