Israeli soldiers today shot and injured a Palestinian girl near the entrance to the settlement of Movo Dotan.

Fifteen-year-old Nouf Iqab Abdel-Jabbar Infeiat from Yabed village near occupied Jenin was taken by ambulance to be treated in an Israeli hospital.

A spokesperson for the Hillel Yaffe medical centre in the city of Hadera confirmed to Ma’an that the Palestinian was being operated there, adding that she was in “critical condition”.

Later, the Israeli occupation forces closed the main road connecting the Jenin governorate with Tulkarm, as well as the villages and towns near Yabed in Jenin.

The Israeli occupation forces also declared the Movo Dotan checkpoint, adjacent to the agricultural land of the town of Yabed, a closed military zone.
