Hamas MP Hassan Yousef, who was released from Israeli jails last Thursday, said that Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails dream of a new prisoner swap that ends their suffering, Felesteen.ps reported on Tuesday.
Yousef, 62, who has just completed 22 months under administrative detention (no charge or trial), reiterated that Palestinian prisoners inside Israeli jails are living in “very difficult circumstances” and are deprived of their basic rights.
He said that the prisoners believe that the best and quickest way to achieve their freedom is forging a prisoner exchange between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation.
The MP, who was elected in free elections, accused those international actors charged with safeguarding the relevant international conventions of doing nothing to deter the Israeli occupation or obliging it to respect the terms of international law.

He said that the Israeli occupation does not respect the immunity of the elected MPs which is guaranteed by international law and several conventions and agreements.
Yousef hailed the Palestinian people, who stand alone against the oppression of the Israeli occupation. Yousef has spent a total of 21 years inside the Israeli jails – a third of his entire life.
